At the event, Lux­em­bourg announced the allo­ca­tion of EUR1 mil­lion to the ini­tia­tive to cre­ate a con­nec­tiv­i­ty sec­tor for refugees, set up joint­ly with UNHCR, the Inter­na­tion­al Telecom­mu­ni­ca­tions Union (ITU) and the GSMA, to help bridge the con­nec­tiv­i­ty gap for dis­placed persons.
